Regio Er heerst een continentaal klimaat in het gebied met hete zomers en koude winters. De regio is weinig blootgesteld aan de noordwinden en de winden van de Atlantische Oceaan, omdat hij beschermd wordt door de Serra Mesão. De ondergrond bestaat voornamelijk uit graniet en leisteen.
Vat

Vinificatieproces

Manuele selectie van druiven op de sorteertafel voor het binnengaan van de kelder. Zacht pneumatische druk, gevolgd door gisting in roestvrij stalen vaten gedurende 3 weken bij 15° C.

Bewaring

Afgewerkte alcoholische fermentatie in Franse eiken vaten : 20% nieuw, 80% gebruikt. Gerijpt gedurende 6 maanden in vaten met een wekelijkse “battonage”.

Kleur

Gedefinieerd citroengeel met groenachtige tonen.

Aroma

Exuberant exotisch/tropisch fruit, waarbij mango en papaya opvallen. Citrus, vleugje vanille en florale tinten.

Smaak

Fruitig, fris, aangenaam volume in the mond, demonstreert een goede en delicate structuur met een persistente afdronk.
Dining Excellent als appetizer of bij lichte charcuterie, zeevruchten, gegrild wit vlees en zachte kazen.
Het beste geserveerd bij 10-12° C.

There is a continental climate in the area with hot summers and cold winters. The area is little susceptible to the north winds and the winds of the Atlantic because it is protected by the Serra Mesão. The soil consists mainly of

Vat

Vinification process
Manual selection of grapes on the sorting table before entering the cellar. Soft pneumatic pressing followed by fermentation in stainless steel vats for 3 weeks at 15° C.
Cellaring
Finished alcoholic fermentation in French oak barrels : 20% new, 80% used. Aged during 6 months in barrels with a weekly “battonage”.

Color
Defined citrine with greenish tones.
Aroma
Exuberant exotic/tropical fruit, where mango and papaya stand out. Citrus, slight vanilla and floral nuances.
Taste
Fruity, fresh, pleasant volume in the mouth, demonstrates a good and delicate structure with a persistent finish.
Dining

Excellent as an appetizer or to accompany light charcuterie, seafood, grilled white meats and soft cheeses.
Best served : 10-12° C.
